The hands that built hardie Ranches
It all began when Alex Hardie, a descendant from Scotland, laid claim to a 160 acre parcel of land in 1880 that is now known as Hardie Ranches. Alex and his family originally raised sheep on the land and now in its maturity, the ranch has since grown and transitioned exclusively to natural beef. Hardie Ranches is a Century Farm with Mrs. Georgia (Hardie) Van Winkle and her husband Jim Van Winkle being the fifth generation to manage and oversee operations of the ranch. Beyond raising happy cows, the ranch also provides a sanctuary for wildlife and flora & fauna to thrive.
